My passion for food has taken me on a journey of flavor, texture, color and discovery. After owning a restaurant, being a chef and caterer, it was time to trade in my knives, whisks, and oven for a sewing machine. I guess you could say I am a self-taught artist... I create art using a variety of materials.

The majority of my work is of a whimsical nature. My creations are meant to bring color to your soul... but most of all, I hope they make you smile. To me, food parallels art...you can actually compose a dish ( ART) in your head before you execute it with your hands.

I also accept commissions for custom made fabric art, including dolls, handbags, art quilts  and assemblages based on your ideas. If you can describe it to me, I can do it.

If you find something interesting on this site and would like to know more about it, additional photos are available. The items that are priced do not include the cost of shipping as that will vary according to size,  weight and  destination, etc.
